Step 1: Set up Phone or Tablet camera.
Set up your phone or tablet camera settings. For the best experience check your phone’s camera- record video setting. The analysis will be more useful when the video is taken with 60 frames per seconds (fps) or higher. To set your video to 60 fps:
Go to Settings and Select Camera
Once in Camera, Select, Record Video
Once in Record Video, Select 1080p HD at 60 fps
Step 2: Take Your Video
The video can be taken of you running on the ground or running on a treadmill.
A) Running on the Ground: Take a video of you running at your normal training pace. Try to capture a view of running from the right and left side as well as the front and back. Any information is helpful. It should be 1 video, less than 1 minute in length. If it is easier, send one video capturing a side view and another video capturing a view of the front/ back. Try to keep the runner centered in the camera throughout the video.
B) Running on the Treadmill: Take a video of you running on a treadmill at your normal training pace. Try to capture a view of running from the side and back. The video should be less than 1 minute in length. Try to keep the runner centered in the camera throughout the video.
Step 3: Send your Video for Analysis
Email your video to email@example.com with Video Analysis in the subject.
